live inside a real family house in Camberwell, London, and online on

Gina Casetta opens with 'Movie Premiere', further investigating her interest
in the persona of the movie star and cult of personality associated with the
contemporary celebrity. The house is taken over with objects, film & video
pieces and the movie star herself, presenting and discussing her new
movie.The audience become bound into a unique spectacle of fallen glamour,
dissolving boundaries and the fantasy of life lived through the screen.
'A History...So long now her life in celluloid, she unsure of where the movie
star began and ended. A life now merged, so immersed, the boudaries melted.
There is no way back to what went before and what exists after'
'Movie Premiere' includes four specially commissioned films, made in
collaboration
between the performer and four distinquished fine art film makers; 'La donna
della Macchina' directed by Michelle Barber. 'Welcome to Barrier Point'
directed by
Jackie Holt. 'Gods Bads' directed by Mel Snowdon. 'Trains, Clouds and Games'
directed by Jo Gray.
Gina Casetta was trained at London Guildhall University, and has been
involved in curation and presentation of live art since 1997. Key
performances include; 'Death of the Non Blonde Blonde Part 1' Deptford
Festival, 2000, 'Commodity Blaze Scene', Whitechaple Gallery, 1998, 'Blood
Letting 6' Mixmaster Festival, Copenhagen. Exhibitions; 'Addressing the
Century 100 Years of Fashion' Hayward Gallery, London 1999.
The home Salon provides a space for the informal presentation of new,
experimemtal and work-in-progress performance and live art in the domestic
context of home. With full presentation on the home website,
