UNIGLORY


                   
Uniglory is a limited edition journal of contemporary art. Modelled off any number of seminal avant-garde journals (dada/futurist/ constructivist/beat), Uniglory channels the longstanding past and present traditions of self-publishing.  Grounded in a desire to broaden the barracks of art-writing and provide extra options for artists in presenting visual works, Uniglory deepens the current embrace with DIY and looks to the reality of an entirely artist- designed publication. By requiring contributors to produce their own edition of pages to be then bound into the whole, the resourceful production of the zine meets the work of professional artists in a freight container of ideas, texts, reviews and pageworks. Working to an edition of fifty and a loose theme per issue, each is a collection of around six contributions plus the work of a feature cover artist.

Plus 'Artists are to Blame', commentary by Simon Barney on the recent 'ArtPort' Artist-Run Initiatives week & forum held in Sydney.  Featuring covergirl Robert Downey Jnr by TV Moore.
