[fesars] Ásta Ólafsdóttir in GUK

This coming sunday a new exhibition will open in GUK. Icelandic artist Ásta Ólafsdóttir has made two pieces for the Danish and German locals she calls Travel Partners and for Iceland she has made an installation in a tent where European and Eastern culture and heritage are lead together.

Ásta studied art in Iceland and Holland and has exhibitied widely. She has also published three books with own writing. Further information can be found about Ásta and her work on http://www.umm.is

The exhibition will open at 2 ošclock in Iceland and at 4 ošclock in Denmark and Germany. Exhibitions in GUK last for three months and they are open the first sunday every month and on the final day of each exhibition. The exhibitions can also be visited on other times. Entrance is free and everyone is welcome.
