PM for the opening of Jocelyn Lee's exhibition.

Jocelyn Lee's color photographs explore how humans
exist in the world alongside nature and how this
relationship informs our visual lives. Her
photographs-whether of people or of the landscape-draw
our eye to the texture, pigment, and physical markers
of the material world.  

In Jocelyn's photographs humans, either accidentally
or consciously, camouflage themselves or appear
dislocated from their surroundings. In one of her
photographs a partially dressed pregnant woman
reclines on a couch whose vibrant floral upholstery
directly emulates the plant world outside. Other
photographs range from a hunter entering the forest to
a child rolling in the grass. 

The exhibition runs through May 5, 2001. For more
