In his work "Tokyo Cheetahs last employment", Alexander
Steig has dissociated the elements of a television and divided them
among the three locals of GUK. In the shed in Lejre in Denmark there
is a video running showing a recording of the old tv screen with only
snow. In the kitchen in Hannover only the flickering sound from the
old tv can be heard and in the garden in Selfoss is the tv
itself. The tv was made in Japan in the sixties and exported to
Germany where it was used for decades. Then it travelled to Selfoss
in Iceland where it will finish it¹s career this sunday.
