Dear FESARS friends,

WELCOME to FESARS electronic mailing list!

Konstakutens efforts to set up a web-based network of artist-run spaces,
have now resluted in the setting up of an electronic mailing list, where
fesars participants form the initial subscribers. This mailing list will be
open for other artist-run/independant/alternatives AR/I/A's to subscribe.

note: messages get automatically  published if they are sent from the
e-mail address which has been subscribed, meaning all other subscribers
receive it, the same goes for all replies. If you wish to post from an
address that has not been subscribed just start your letter(body) with
'password:fesars'.

Hopefully the list will enable discussion, exchange and info about our
projects and activities, as well as help tie us together. So please post
your press releases, projects etc. If you're looking for collaborators,
artists, want to share/exchange resources such as studios, apts, dogs,
children.... post it!

*(fesars is a temporary name for the list, we thought since many people
know of the network as fesars no point in changing just yet, however if you
have a name suggestion for the network please post it.)

FESARS-'First European Seminar for Artist Run Spaces' took place in
Stockholm 21-23 May 1999. The seminar brought together  representatives
from 31 artist-run spaces/initiatives from all over Europe, together with 9
different speakers,  artstudents and other people working within the arts.
All togehter over 70 people participated in the seminar. For more info see:
